As proof-positive that we are doubtlessly beyond the looking glass, comedian Tom Arnold said Friday that he is teaming up with Michael Cohen, Trump’s former longtime personal lawyer in order to “take down” the president.
On Thursday, Arnold tweeted a photo with Michael Cohen along with the caption “I Love New York,” which Cohen retweeted without comment.

Arnold then told NBC News that he’d met with Michael Cohen as part of a show he is working on for Vice, in which he searches for incriminating videos President Trump. Arnold went on to say of Cohen, “This dude has all the tapes — this dude has everything. I say to Michael, ‘Guess what? We’re taking Trump down together,’ and he’s so tired he’s like, ‘OK,’ and his wife is like, ‘Okay — f-ck Trump.’”
Thursday night, NBC News asked Michael Cohen about the photo and he referred inquiries to Arnold. Several hours later, Arnold contacted NBC News. He explained that he was in New York taping interviews for the Viceland show and that he met Cohen at the Loews Regency Hotel in Manhattan.
The idea for the program reportedly followed the leak of the now-notorious “Access Hollywood” tape during the 2016 presidential race, in which Trump can be heard bragging about grabbing women “by the p—-.” The show will feature Arnold’s hunt for other unflattering video and audio recordings of Donald Trump.
NBC News also contacted VICE and report,”A Viceland producer said Cohen had not done an on-camera interview and they are ‘still working it.'”
