CNN recently held a panel called Pulse Of The People: Trump Voters On President’s Performance. Host Alisyn Camerota spoke with a panelist who was wearing a t-shirt with a photo of himself hugging President Trump.
And pay attention folks, because this guy – and his unwavering, unaccountable support of Donald Trump – reveals a much deeper problem with die-hard Trump supporters: they completely ignore logic and reason.
Camerota asked the gentleman about the shirt. He said that it was from February 18th at the Melbourne rally. He says he ran up, gave Trump a “man-hug,” and also said that Trump had changed his life and “the promises that he’s made — he’s doing them.
Camerota asked which promises Trump has made and kept. The panelist said, “Just think about — let’s think about, as in, uh, with uh, uh, uh… you know”
Alisyn Camerota asked the struggling panelist again, “But what promises has he made to you that he’s kept?” The panelist responded again, “Let’s think about it.” He was helped by another panelist, and then cited his withdrawal from the Paris Agreement (which Trump this week teased he might walk back) and the effort to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Though we can’t really know CNN’s motives or goals, we can certainly say that this doesn’t make Trump supporters look very good, now does it?
