The New York Times reported Thursday that Omarosa Manigault Newman could have as many as 200 tapes that may contain information about the president himself and his inner circle.
The report says that a number of Trump administration aides have expressed concern that they might end up being exposed on Manigault Newman’s tapes as she continues to tease the public in promotion of her new book Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House by releasing bombshell recordings.
The New York Times report was released following a recording released Thursday Morning by Manigault Newman showing the president’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump offering the former aide a job following her dismissal from the White House last year. Inexplicably, Trump also offered Manigault Newman $15,000 per month to work on the president’s campaign… shortly after she was fired.
Lara Trump later on Thursday hit back at the former White House aide over the secret recording, in a statement:
“Woman to woman, I shared a connection with Omarosa as a friend and a campaign sister, and I am absolutely shocked and saddened by her betrayal and violation on a deeply personal level,” Trump, an adviser to the president’s campaign, said in a statement. I hope it’s all worth it for you, Omarosa, because some things you just can’t put a price on.”
This is the fourth leaked recording that Manigault Newman has released in recent days. She has also teased the existence of additional tapes and claims the recordings are necessary to defend her credibility as the White House and President Trump continue to attack it. It is hard to criticize her rationalize is Donald Trump has labeled her a “lowlife,” a “dog”, and “wacky and deranged.”
