While we’ve all come to know way more about Donald Trump than we ever cared to know, the same cannot be said of First Lady Melania Trump.
We first began to side-eye Melania Trump when she defended her husband’s comments on that notorious Access Hollywood audio leak by saying, “As you can see from the tape, the cameras were not on, only the mic, and I wonder if they even knew that the mic was on, because they were kind of a boy talk, and he was led on, like egg[ed] on, from the host to say dirty and bad stuff.” And when Mrs. Trump followed that up with, “Sometimes… I said, I have two boys at home. I have my young son, and I have my husband…” I think we all knew we were in for a real treat, should her then-candidate husband make it into the Oval Office. Especially since her husband/boy was 70 years old.
We knew Mrs. Trump was adept at real life trolling when Trump’s team announced that her signature cause was going to be putting an end to bullying, despite being married to Donald Trump.
But Melania has remained enigmatic, largely because she waited waited until June 2017 to move to Washington, D.C., as she preferred to remain in New York City until the couple’s son, Barron, finished school. Now that it has been a year since Donald Trump moved into the White House, we are beginning to see a convergence of interests, as the First Lady chose to mark her husband’s first year in the White House by tweeting a photo of herself on inauguration day… escorted by someone other than her husband.
This has been a year filled with many wonderful moments. I’ve enjoyed the people I’ve been lucky enough to meet throughout our great country & the world! 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/MMRi72ENd0

So Cyberbully-in-Chief just got trolled by wife to mark his inauguration? That feels right.
