George Conway, a conservative lawyer and husband of White House Counsel Kellyanne Conway, has made no secret of just how he feels about President Trump and this week, he’s firing away yet again. This time, first taking to Twitter in a response to Trump’s most recent condemnation of the media. Mr. Conway retweeted a post from Seth Mandel, executive editor of the Washington Examiner magazine, wherein Mandel calls for Trump to “just stop” with the media name-calling and thereby invited his followers to “pile away”.
Yes, pile away. https://t.co/uynNSlWrNP

In the aftermath of last week’s pipe bomb mailings, where 14 of Trump’s most public objectors were targeted, Trump has taken to Twitter to express his disdain of how the media has handled coverage of the event, calling them the “True Enemy of the People” among other negative remarks. Trump blames the media for whipping the country’s anger into a frenzied state with their “inaccurate” reporting. His twitter attacks on the media continue to come, even amid calls from both sides of the aisle for him to tone down the rhetoric.
George Conway is a longstanding critic of President Trump and this administration, despite his wife’s firmly rooted position in the Trump camp and White House. He has regularly taken to Twitter to decry Trump’s behavior and has issued a slew of tweets slamming the President in recent weeks notably putting him on public blast for his “ceaseless, shameless, witless prevarication on virtually all topics”
Needless to say, there’s a huge difference between an isolated slip of the tongue and ceaseless, shameless, and witless prevarication on virtually all topics, large and small. https://t.co/mvV8cgZLyp

The Conways were featured in an article in the Washington Post in August that drew attention to their stark differences in the political arena. Kellyanne, despite her wishes to remain anonymous for the quote, went on record about her husband’s highly public criticism’s of President Trump, saying, “I think it’s disrespectful. I think it disrespects his wife.”
