Way, way back – on March 9, 2017 – Vice President Mike Pence was questioned about his knowledge of the then-unfolding Michael Flynn foreign lobbying scandal. In front of millions of people on Fox News, he said “hearing that story today was the first I heard of it.” Since then, a copy of a very incriminating letter has been produced by Congressman Elijah Cummings.
The letter from Ranking Member Congressman Cummings, dated November 18, 2016, and addressed to then Vice President-Elect Mike Pence, shows proof that Pence knew about the conflicts of interest and possible security risks that were associated with the appointing of Michael Flynn – a PAID RUSSIAN AGENT – to the position of National Security Advisor. HE KNEW THIS INFORMATION AND HE LIED ABOUT IT.
It was certainly no secret to many, many people that Flynn was coming in with some heavy baggage, mostly in the form of serious connections with foreign governments. Kind of a problem for someone being appointed to such an important position for America, right?
Scott Dworkin, a well known Anti-Trump activist and founder of the Democrat Coalition tweeted copies of the letter, which we have posted below, and got everyone’s attention saying, “A Congressman sent this letter 11/18/16 to Mike Pence alerting him that Mike Flynn was a paid Russian agent. Pence knew & lied.” He finished it with #PenceResign.

So our Vice President KNEW all along, from the hiring of Michael Flynn right up until the day he resigned, that he was a paid foreign agent and yet he continuously claimed ignorance. Let that sink in. Politico reported in May 2017 that Pence was continuing to stand by his claim of no knowledge and elaborated with the following:
“Vice President Mike Pence is standing by his March claim that he learned about Michael Flynn’s Turkish lobbying work through the media, even as a new report indicates Flynn informed the transition team in January that he was under federal investigation for not properly disclosing the paid work.”
