Anthony Scaramucci had an 11-day gig as the White House communications director, much of which he spent singing Trump’s praises, but any friendship that remained has been shattered by their recent war of words.
Now Scaramucci has denounced the President on national television and has even been spotted at a Joe Biden campaign event.
On Saturday night, Former Vice President and 2020 Democratic candidate spoke at a charity fundraiser hosted by the Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons and Scaramucci was seen among the attendees.
Scaramucci told a reporter that he was, indeed, still a Republican but that he was interested in finding and supporting someone who could challenge President Trump, who he said has “lost his mind.”

In a clip from the Blue Dream Gala charity event, Scaramucci said, “I haven’t switched my support to Vice President Biden, but I will be working to find a nominee to challenge Donald Trump because he’s lost his mind and we gotta get somebody in there before we lose the election in 2020.”
Obviously this isn’t the first time Scaramucci has spoken out against Trump. As of late he has made the rounds on social media and TV expressing his disdain for the Commander in Chief. Recently he appeared on MSNBC begging Republican leaders to convince Trump to give up the presidency and to let Vice President Mike Pence take over.
Scaramucci also says he believes Trump is moving towards, and already engaging in, “full-blown fascism.” In an op-ed in The Washington Post, he said he wants to prevent Trump from winning in 2020 and being given another term as president.
Trump has not helped to diffuse the situation, however, taking every opportunity to feud with Scaramucci, most notably maybe was his tweet of a compilation showing clips featuring Scaramucci speaking about his loyalty to the president.
