While Jim Carrey has largely receded from the Hollywood limelight, he has become a rather prolific painter. Carrey’s appearance on Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (Season 6; episode 3) was less about Carrey’s career in comedy and more about his current lifestyle, and his love of painting.
But that doesn’t mean Carrey has lost his sense of humor.
Last week, he tweeted a submission to Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery called: ‘You Scream. I Scream. Will We Ever Stop Screaming?’
Dear Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery @NPG, I know it’s early but I’d like to submit this as the official portrait of our 45th President, Donald J. Trump. It’s called, ‘You Scream. I Scream. Will We Ever Stop Screaming?’ pic.twitter.com/LrCmlXXpv7

As teased by the portrait’s name, ice cream features prominently. In addition to indulging in an ice cream sundae, the 45th president also appears to be indulging in a bit of, um, upper body self-pleasure.
The Smithsonian hasn’t officially responded to Carrey’s submission, however, should be Smithsonian be in the market for a terrifyingly realistic portrait of the First Son-in-Law — and why shouldn’t they; it’s a thing now — Carrey also has them covered.

Then, of course, we have Trump’s eldest sons.

If the Smithsonian should be in the market for topical political satire art akin to that found in Western Europe, they can’t go wrong with ’50 Shades of Decay’
