Last week, and for reasons nobody can really comprehend, Fox News host Laura Ingraham doubled down on her campaign of harassing survivors of the Parkland Massacre.
But this tweet finally earned Ingraham the recognition she so was so obviously craving.
David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.) https://t.co/wflA4hWHXY

David Hogg responded by tweeting an abridged list of Ingraham’s top advertisers, and encouraging the public to contact those companies and pull their advertising dollars.

By Friday night, 14 companies had already announced they were pulling their ads altogether, or had otherwise sought to distance themselves from Ingraham. Those include:
- Johnson & Johnson
- Stitch Fix
- Jos. A. Bank
- Office Depot
- Jenny Craig
- Liberty Mutual
As expected, once the Fox News host saw that her gravy train had left the tracks, she apologized to David Hogg. Her transparently cynical apology did not resonate with David Hogg.
The 17 year old Hogg told CNN’s “New Day”
“She’s only apologizing after a third of her advertisers pulled out, and I think it’s really disgusting, the fact that she basically tried promoting her show after apologizing to me. If she really wants to do something, she could cover inner-city violence and the real issues that we have in America.”
But what you may have missed is that Lauren Hogg, David’s 14 year old sister, called out First Lady Melania Trump. If you will recall, this FLOTUS chose — and apparently without a hint of irony — ending cyberbullying as her primary platform.

Nearly sixteen months into her husband’s administration and the only real, uh, work that FLOTUS has done for her chosen cause has been hosting a luncheon at the UN. Unfortunately for Lauren Hogg, Melania Trump hasn’t yet felt obliged to step outside the finger sandwich arena in order to fight for the cyberbullied.
