Gallop recently released the results of a massive poll – they announced that Americans chose Barack Obama over Donald Trump for the Most Admired Man of the Year.
The poll reveals that 22% of Americans choose Obama to only 15% for Trump. This will be Obama’s 9th year in a row winning the distinction, dating all the way back to 2008, before he took office (in the wake of deep dislike of then-president George W. Bush).
Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama swept positions 1 and 2 on the women’s side. Together, the two women racked up 20% of the vote. Coming in a 3 – with a distant 3% of votes – was German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.
This year’s results mark the 9th year in a row Obama and Hillary Clinton have taken the top spots. Congrats to President Obama and Secretary Clinton!
And let’s be sure about one other thing – while the angriest of Trump-following Republicans might be yelling the loudest, it seems that America’s feelings about Donald Trump might be changing. Quickly.
